Like a doll stuck in a black tutu, a body moves quickly across the stage with sharp yet uncertain gestures. Each motion flickers, between elegance and rebellion, the classical poise of ballet colliding with an inner turmoil it cannot contain. The spiraling melodies of Arcangelo Corelli’s Follia, with their baroque order, amplify the body’s confusion and frustration even more. The body spins faster, desperate to break free from tradition’s invisible strings, driven by a desire for shapeless freedom.
